    We arrive 12-1...11 days!! We are staying at PO riverside and plan on just hanging out and relaxing after a long drive. Are there any type of special events at PO for my 9 yr old son? Thanks!!

    The ambiance at Port Orleans Riverside makes for a great place to kick back and relax, Tonya.  While there aren't exactly any "special events" that I can think of, there certainly are plenty of recreational opportunities to enjoy.  You might consider renting a surrey bike, and exploring the resort that way.  Another option would be to visit the marina and check out the watercraft rentals.  I would also suggest checking the schedule for the River Roost Lounge; the piano man there, Yeeha Bob, puts on a fabulous, family-friendly show.  I'm sure you'll find something to easily and enjoyably waste away a day!
