We arrive in 11 days and are staying for 7 days at Disney's Art of Animation. Youngest daughter is at University and arrives direct from Canada at 9:02am. The rest of the family arrive from Bermuda at 2:47pm. Any chance of Sam checking in early?

Hi Deborah! Not only is your vacation just days away, you're meeting your family members at Walt Disney World Resort - how fun!!!!

Usually the lead vacation planner whose name is first on the reservation, or is the cardholder of the payment method connected to your stay, is often viewed as the official check-in person. However, since your daughters name is also included as a guest of this reservation, she will at the very least be able to check her luggage at Disney's Art of Animation Luggage Services area and be able to start enjoying amenities your resort hotel, like the famous Big Blue Pool. She can even take a complementary Disney Resort Bus to Disney Springs to shop and dine.

While check-in time is officially 3 P.M. EST, magic has been known to happen and should your room be ready you can usually get in a bit early. Your best options for Sam being able to be first in your room would be to call your resort hotel to give permission for her to check-in on your behalf, which also includes the Online Check-in process.

Regardless of who gets to start your families Walt Disney World Resort Vacation first, Deborah, I wish you all the best time enjoying each others company and that you all get to make a lifetime of memories together. Thank you for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and We'll See You Real Soon!
