Arrive in 17 days. So excited. 1st visit duting Christmas season. Will kids be able to visit Santa at any of the parks during the week of 11/19-11/23?

    Hi Dana!

So glad to help a fellow Hoosier with your planning to Walt Disney World.

It sounds like you are taking advantage of the early Christmas season before Thanksgiving at Disney. It is a great week to grab those kids out of school for just a couple of days and have a magical family vacation. My own grown children are coming with their children during that week and I can’t wait to celebrate with them.

Christmas does come early to the parks and resorts. Starting tomorrow you will start to see decorations up and especially in the Magic Kingdom where Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party will be held. Each day you will see more and more decor up and usually by Thanksgiving week most of the resorts will be fully in the spirit.

Most of the parks will indeed have a place where children and adults can stop and visit with Santa Claus. Hollywood Studios will definitely start visitation tomorrow, November 9 as well as Disney Springs. Most likely the Magic Kingdom and Epcot will open their Santa spots as well but cannot find the official times and dates for those parks. When you check in please head to the concierge desk and have them update you on all parks. They can also let you know where the exact location for Santa is in each park since things can change from year to year.

Ho Ho Ho make sure those kids have their lists made and ready for the jolly guy in a red suit!
