Hi Dana,
My family loves Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World. We were just discussing where we'll eat our holiday meal this year, so I'm happy to offer you some suggestions. (We haven't settled on a decision because there are so many great options.)
I know from past years that you can get a traditional turkey dinner with the trimmings without a dining reservation at
Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion. You will find many of the table service restaurants offer a prix fixe menu with a turkey option on that day. At Epcot, I would suggest
Le Cellier,
Coral Reef or
Rose & Crown.
We've had Thanksgiving dinner at the Boma buffet at Animal Kingdom Lodge and found a turkey and dressing station in addition the normal fare, and I would guess that Biergarten and Akershus in Epcot would do the same. It's a great way to have a taste of tradition with other cuisine.
My other suggestion would be to take a quick walk from Epcot through the International Gateway exit to the Yacht Club resort to
Yachtsman Steakhouse or the Beach Club resort to the
Cape May Cafe buffet.
Tables for Thanksgiving book quickly, so I suggest making your reservation as close to the 180-day mark as you can. Thanks for your question, Dana. Please let us know if we can help with details on any restaurant as you make your decision.
Enjoy,
Wilma
