We arrive August staying at AKL for 6 nights. We then are moving to a villa. We have 14 day tickets. I’m worried about the booking system as on my account the tickets are only showing valid from 7-13th. Will I be able to reserve the 14 days on Monday?

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lisa!

Wow, you must be so excited for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! Add that you are staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (one of my very favorites), for 14 days (even more magical), and that you'll get to enjoy all the luxuries of "home" when you move to a Villa (just beautiful), and you have planned the perfect visit. Well done!

Because you are staying in two different Walt Disney World Resort hotel room/villas, you most likely have two different reservation confirmation numbers. This is often called a split stay. When my accommodations are split between two different rooms, the details of the first portion of my vacation close out upon checkout of that first room, with the second portion of the visit starting on the first day of the new one. I suggest you check to see if that villa reservation confirmation number is different than that of the first room. If so, be sure to link that reservation confirmation number to your My Disney Experience account as soon as possible. Once linked, you should be able to see both resort reservations as well as the full length of your 14-day ticket purchase.

In preparation for the phased reopening of the parks,Walt Disney World has introduced the Disney Park Pass System. Note that "Disney Resort and other select hotel Guests with valid theme park admission can make reservations" beginning on June 22, 2020. If your second resort reservation number isn't linked to your My Disney Experience Account, the system won't recognize you as a Disney Resort Guest on those days.

If, however, the entire length of your 14 day stay is linked to your My Disney Experience account already, contact Walt Disney World so that a Cast Member can check to see if Stitch caused a glitch in the system. You'll want that fixed so that you can make the additional park reservations for the remaining days of your visit.

As you plan your pixie-dusted stay, Lisa, be sure keep up-to-date by visiting Disney Parks Blog; then, come back to Disney Parks Moms Panel and ask us more questions. We love to help!
