    We will arrive around 10:00am 4/3/11 and will not be able to check in to All Star Music resort until 3pm. We leave on 4/8/11 9pm, check out is 11am. What suggestions do you have for us to do on these two days? Coming from Michigan.

    Hi Jessica! Absolutely! If you don't wish to visit the theme parks on arrival or departure days, you may consider some of the following activities:

     

    1. Bring your swimming gear inside your carry-on luggage so you may go swimming in the Calypso Pool as soon as you arrive at Disney's All-Star Music Resort.
    2. Explore your resort or visit other Disney Resort Hotels.
    3. Visit the Downtown Disney Area. Be sure to take in a performance of Cirque du Soleil - La Nouba.
    4. Visit the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. 
    5. Visit Disney's BoardWalk.
    6. Book one of the Specialty Cruises to watch a fireworks display from a special vantage point.
    7. On departure day, make Advanced Dining Reservations for early breakfast at a Disney Character Dining location.
