Arrive AOA/Cars in 84 days. DS6 wants Luigi's Building. AAA travel agent already added request to ressie. Should I also request? If so, when & how? Would adding a 2nd request of 1st floor lessen our chances of being assigned to Luigi's Bldg? Thanks!

    Hi Lynn,

You and your son are in for a real treat at Art of Animation. I recently toured this resort and was overwhelmed by how fantastic the theming was. He is going to feel like he is in the movie as he walks around the Cozy Cone area and sees many of his favorite Cars characters parked around the resort.

I would say there is nothing wrong with making the same request on your reservation that your travel agent did. Probably the best way to have this request added or reiterated is to call Disney Reservations at (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639) and reference your confirmation number. You could also request the 1st floor. Now, I'll be perfectly honest. I am not sure what their process is in assigning rooms, so I can't say that adding the request of 1st floor would take precedent over the building request. These are exactly that, requests, and they are not guaranteed and are based on availability upon check-in. The cast members will do their best to accommodate you IF they can!

No matter what building you are in, your room is going to be the same as other buildings in the Cars area. As I said, the scenery and details of this resort will surely make it a magical experience to remember for your son.
