    Arrive AoA on a Wednesday. DD9 has PL Friday/BBB Sunday. She is very fair, blonde/blue eyes; has been wearing sun hat in pool at home to protect her head so as not to jeopardize her appts. Can hats be worn in resort pools since appts are later in week?

    Absolutely!

    I completely understand your concern, Lynn. Several of us in the family are very fair, too, so much so that our scalps burn if our hair is pulled back in any way and we're in the sun. You'll be able to keep a hat on your little princess's head while she enjoys the pool at Disney's Art of Animation Resort; we do this all of the time when enjoying the pools at a Walt Disney World Resort, especially in the summer.

    Once your daughter has gotten her fabulous 'do at both The Pirates League and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, I suggest, if she wants to keep it for the rest of the day or two and does not want to crush it with a hat, that you bring a high-factored sunscreen stick or sunscreen that's made for the scalp. There are several types available, so check out your local drug store before heading out on your vacation. Either one may keep everyone happy and comfortable, post-makeover, too. ;-)

    Have a fantastic time on your quickly-approaching trip to Walt Disney World, Lynn! And have that camera ready; your daughter's transformations will be so magical that you'll want to document them each step along the way!
