Hi Kristin!
You will be at
Walt Disney World Resort TOMORROW!! How exciting!!
If you aren't planning to visit a theme park, there are oodles of things to keep you (and your four and a half year old) busy until you check-in at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort! Some of my rainy day favorites include
Disney Springs or enjoying a ride on the
Monorail. We also enjoy visiting some of the other Disney Resort hotels.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorites! The Resort hotel is beautiful, there are great dining options and, of course, animals!
Have you completed your
online check-in? Make sure you provide a mobile phone number so you can be contacted when your room is available. While it doesn't happen every time, there have been several instances where we were able to get into our room earlier in the day. It was nice to be able to get settled.
Also - my family typically tries to bring two pairs of shoes with us when we visit Walt Disney World Resort. If one pair gets too wet, we have the second pair if needed. Crumpled up newspaper also helps dry out our shoes faster.
Another must have for our Walt Disney World Resort vacations is rain gear. Rain or shine, we make the most of every moment we have. When it is raining, we put our rain gear on and go make some magical memories. Some of our most memorable days have also been some of our rainiest.
I couldn't be more excited for you. While I hope your weather is perfect, I know you are going to enjoy spending time with your family at Walt Disney World Resort rain or shine. Seeing the magic through the eyes of your kiddo will take your breath away. Enjoy every magical moment!
