    We arrive at Animal Kingdom in a week. I will be 2 weeks postop from stomach surgery so I will have to stick to the resort. What sorts of fun things are available for an adult? I'd love to get a manicure.

    Hi James - The Animal Kingdom Lodge is absolutely beautiful, and there are plenty of things that you'll be able to enjoy while you are there.  Unfortunately, there isn't a spa, but you could always take a cab to another resort with a spa if that would work for you.

    You could easily spend time at the resort exploring the savannahs and just sitting outside.  There are lots of little observation decks throughout the building - it's such a nice place to sit and watch the animals.  If you walk around the grounds, you'll also find cast members that can give you some background information on the different types of animals.

    The pool area is also really nice - I'm not sure if you can swim, but even if you can't, you can enjoy sitting outside by the pool.
