Hello Sarah,
I must say you've made a wonderful decision by opting to stay at the beautiful African inspired
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge during your upcoming August 2015 holiday to Walt Disney World Resort. I just know you're little adventurer is going to love every moment and perhaps a top tip for him might be to pack a small pair of binoculars from home to add to the animal spotting fun!
My family and I have enjoyed staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge in a Savanna Room with bunk beds located on the
Kudu Trail; we found the room easily accessible and it definitely benefited from an amazing view of the savanna animals.
Although Disney Resort room requests cannot ever be guaranteed, it is possible to discuss your families needs and perhaps explain your dear son's condition with a Cast Member at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge about
1 week before you are due to check-in.
The phone number for Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is located within my previous link and be sure to have all booking/confirmation numbers handy when requesting any information be added to your reservation.
I thought you may also find this
Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities link to be a useful planning resource.
If I can sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your August summer holiday to Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
Have a great Disney day.
~ Jane
