Arrive at the airport at 6:30pm and have reserv at Chef Mickey at 9:10. Do we have enough time to check-in at POR or should we go straight to dinner?(Using ME)This is our boys1st trip (13 & 9)we haven't been in 20yrs since our honeymoon. EXCITED

Hi, Helen!  I always allow for about 45 minutes to an hour to get out of the airport, then an hour to get to your resort, so I think you should play it by ear and see if there will be enough time to check in at Port Orleans Riverside before heading over to dinner.  If things go in your favor, you will only have to wait a few minutes before you are boarding Disney's Magical Express, and that should get you to your resort by eight o'clock.  That is probably plenty of time to check in and then head over to the Contemporary.

If you see that you are having to wait a bit longer before boarding the Motorcoach to the resort, you might want to reconsider and head directly to the Contemporary.  You want to check in at least a few minutes before your reservation time at the podium at Chef Mickey's.

I think you should have time to check in first, but keep an eye on your time the day of your arrival.  So many factors could influence whether or not you need to go straight to dinner.

    Have a great vacation!
