We arrive afternoon of Nov 21 and no park tickets. Can you recommend a quick service restaurant at any of the resorts or DTD/ Brdwalk. 2 adults and 6 and 4 yr old boys. Not picky just need something filling after 10 hour drive to Disney. Thanks!

    Tashana:

My favorite counter-service restaurant at the resorts is the Pepper Market at Coronado Springs.  Its large selection of choices, food cooked right in front of you and a large, open seating arrangement puts it on top in my book.  HOWEVER, after a long ride from our mutual state of Mississippi, you may not want to hop right back in the car to get there....

Two other options would be Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney along with Wolfgang Puck's Express.  What makes these two (along with Cookes of Dublin, but I've not eaten there....) is that you could hop on a bus from your resort and head to Downtown Disney--and let someone else do the driving!

Although their menus don't live up to the satisfying meals you can create at Pepper Market, Downtown Disney offers exciting surroundings to enjoy after dinner to get you primed for your vacation.  I enjoyed Wolfgang Puck's barbecue chicken pizza on a recent visit, but it's on the West Side of Downtown Disney, and a good 10-minute stroll to the shops and activities I think your boys would enjoy exploring (like the Lego shop).  Cookes is more centrally located, and Earl of Sandwich is right in the middle of the Downtown Disney action.

If you're truly not picky, I'd choose Earl of Sandwich (the sourdough chicken salad sandwich I had there was fresh and filling).

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
