Hi Jeremy, welcome to planDisney!
I’m happy to hear you’re visiting
Tri-Circle-D Ranch on your upcoming visit! My family recently stayed at
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and used Bus Transportation to visit the ranch for horseback riding, then took a Fort Wilderness internal bus to the Bike Barn to try out the
Fort Wilderness Archery Experience and L&B Gem Mining Co Experience.
There is a bus that will take you between Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness. There are several internal bus routes at
Fort Wilderness, so I recommend confirming with the driver that you are getting on the correct bus that will take you to Wilderness Lodge. There is also a watercraft that runs between Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort, however, it only operates from 3:00 PM to 10:45 PM, subject to change.
Since you’re visiting Fort Wilderness, I highly recommend
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue for dinner and a show. Or, if you’re looking for something you can take back to your room,
Trail’s End Restaurant has Family Meals of Fried Chicken, Barbecued Ribs, or Family-size pizzas. I’m hungry just thinking of it!
I hope this helps, Jeremy! Have a wonderful time visiting Tri-Circle-D Ranch. Make sure you chat with some of the Cast Members working in the stables. I loved hearing about the horses that reside there, and everywhere that the horses work at Walt Disney World. If you have any more questions, please come back and
ask me directly at planDisney!
