    on our arrival day we do not plan on going to the parks. What can we do (other than pool) on our arrival day that doesn't require park admission? Kids are 7 and 3.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Emily!

    There are so many fun things to do at Disney that do not require theme park admission (many that are free) that you can do on the day you arrive or anytime during your visit. Here are some suggestions:

    * Downtown Disney (DTD). Its offers a lot more than shopping and dining. I recently answered a question for a Guest with suggestions for little ones at DTD that you may find helpful.
    * Visit Disney's BoardWalk - There is no admission to the BoardWalk area where live evening kid friendly entertainment can usually be found. They also have midway games and you can rent Surrey bikes.
    * Check out the activities offered at your resort. Many offer water sports, biking or fishing.
    * Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long at Fort Wilderness.
    * Visit Animal Kingdom Lodge - there is an outside viewing area of the Savannah where you can see the animals.
    * Visit the other resorts - its a lot of fun to see what the other resorts are like inside.
    * Hop over to Tri-Circle D Ranch at Fort Wilderness to visit Cinderella's ponies or take a pony, wagon or carriage ride.
    * Play miniature golf at 1 of 2 locations: Fantasia Gardens and Fairways or Winter Summerland.

    Please feel free to visit us with any other questions. We're hEAR to help!

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
