Hi Adam!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I can't tell if you're trying to arrange a vacation as a surprise or as a helpful gesture so this couple doesn't miss a minute of the magic of Walt Disney World Resort. Either way, bravo, and thank you for helping your friends!
Yes, you can be the plan master and then hand everything over once you've crafted the perfect itinerary. My parents joined my family at my happy place in March where I did all of the planning for everyone. I did eventually "invite" my mom to make her own
My Disney Experience account after our plans were set, and I learned that there are two ways to do this: Way One is for either one or both of the friends to set up their own My Disney Experience Account(s) first and then add you as a Friend. You'll work your magic and everything will be done. Way Two is you'll
make a profile for each of them in your account (select 'I'll enter their name and age', enter their info, and then select 'I want to manage all plans for this Guest'), set up the plans, and then invite each of them to connect to you. To do this, go to your
Family and Friends list, find their profile(s), click on the word 'Update' on the right, and click 'invite to connect' on the upper right side of the new blue box.
Side note: You might have to walk them through how to link to each other. While my parents were the only two guests in the same dining reservation, they weren't auto-magically connected to each other after our handover.
I hope this helped, Adam!
~Kristen
Fun Tip: Once connected to the new account(s), click their name(s) in your Family and Friends List and check the 'Disney PhotoPass Photos' box so you can see their vacation photos!
