How do i arrange for transportation from Kidani Village to Port Canaveral for our cruise?

    Ahoy there, Kimberly!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have a magical adventure coming up. Combining the fun of the Parks with the relaxation of a Disney Cruise is a pairing that is practically perfect in every way.

Ground transportation from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village to Port Canaveral is pretty straightforward. You have complimentary transportation from Orlando International Airport to your Resort hotel via Disney’s Magical Express. The night before you embark on your cruise, you will get a note under your Resort door with information about what to do with your luggage (tags, etc.) and what time to meet the bus. The bus will pull up right outside the lobby and transport you to your cruise terminal. Plan on about a two-hour very comfortable ride. The coaches have plush seats, Disney videos, and a small restroom. Your luggage will not transport directly with you, so make sure you have your cruise documents, ID, and any other personal items that you need.

If you booked your vacation through a travel agent, they can arrange transportation for you. If not, you can book a port transfer online in the My Disney Cruise area, or over the phone by calling Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532. Quick note - while Disney’s Magical Express is complimentary, port transfer to Disney Cruise Line is not. Currently, the fee is $35 per person, per way, but the price is subject to change.

Kimberly, here are some fantastic tips from my fellow panelist Angie for your upcoming land and sea vacation. I know you are going to have a fantastic time.

    Bon Voyage!
