I want to arrange for my son to eat with the Disney character's, do you have to stay in a certain resort inorder to have this option? How do I go about making this happen? Are there several characters per meal?

    Hi Madelyn!

Character meals are an absolute must-do for my family during every trip. They are a lot of fun and are also a great way to get autographs and photographs with your favourite Characters without having to wait in line at the parks. They are available to all guests visiting Walt Disney World not just those staying at a Disney resort.

You can find out about all of the available Character meals HERE

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort is one of our favourite Character meals and here you can usually find Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto although all Characters are subject to change.

Once you have decided which restaurant you would like to eat at, I would highly recommend making an Advanced Dining Reservation which will allow you to select the day and time you would like to attend (subject to availability) Advanced Dining Reservations can currently be made up to 180 days in advance of your visit and can be booked online HERE

I hope that this helps and that your Son enjoys his first Character dining experience!
