Hi Brandi! Welcome to planDisney. Your question is full of celebrations, and I love it!
A couple of years ago, I celebrated my birthday with a visit to Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season, and I LOVED having birthday and Christmas fun all in one magical celebration. It's the most wonderful time of the year, indeed!
While
Disney Floral & Gifts used to decorate Disney Resorts Collection hotel rooms and even deliver Christmas trees, I'm not sure if that option will be available for 2021. They're currently leaving deliveries in the lobby for pick-up. They do have some very cute Christmas items, including
Mickey and Minnie's Ultimate Christmas Celebration basket. I would recommend giving them a call at (407) 939-4438 to see what options are available this Christmas season.
You could also order an artificial tree and some decorations online and have them delivered to your room. When ordering, use the address of the resort hotel (located on the right side of each hotel's webpage under the map) and indicate your name and "GUEST" in the "deliver to" line. Bell Services will hold your delivery until your arrival. Another option would be an Uber ride to a local Target or Wal-Mart to purchase festive decor. You are welcome to bring decorations from home, too!
As for your birthday celebration at
Rainforest Cafe, I would recommend calling the restaurant directly to ask about adding a cake to the reservation. They can be reached at (407) 827-8500. Table-Service restaurants have a limited supply of
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cakes on hand, but because this is a third-party-operated restaurant, they may work differently. Another option is to pick up a birthday cake from the amazing
Amorette's Patisserie or cupcakes from
Sprinkles and bring that to the restaurant with you. Disney Springs is a paradise for sweet tooths!
Brandi, I am wishing you the happiest holiday visit to Walt Disney World Resort, and a very merry birthday celebration! As you count down the days, be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for news and updates. They recently shared their Foodie Guides to holiday treats in the
resort hotels and in the
theme parks and Disney Springs - I recommend brewing a hot chocolate and making a list of must-eats on your phone. Have so much fun planning and dreaming, and please come back and see us if you have any further questions.
Wishing you a magical celebration,
Robyn
