I have my arm in a cast and I’m going in 12 days, can I ride in the attractions or a broken arm on a waterproof cast not allowed in the parks?

Hi Carolina! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am sorry to hear that your arm is injured, but I hope you are still VERY excited to visit the Walt Disney World Resort in less than two weeks! I think that September is my favorite month to visit. Between Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, what's not to love?!

In my experience, most rides are able to accommodate Guests with a cast on their arm. However, there are different types of casts and different restrictions put in place by healthcare providers, so I recommend asking your doctor regarding rides and your cast. Considering that some rides involve water, quick turns, fast speeds, spinning, etc. it is definitely a good idea to speak with your doctor prior to your trip.

You will also find health advisories posted outside of the attraction queues, as well as Cast Members that you can ask. Even if some of the rides are too intense for someone with a cast, there are a ton of rides and shows that are suitable for everyone!

Enjoy your vacation, Carolina! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
