ariving Nov 21-27th (Thnksgn wk) will have 6 day tickets. Will get there about 5 pm on Sat. Can you recommend some things to see or do that evening. Is there things to do IN the parks that late or save the ticket for Fri morning. 2 adults 2 kids (4 & 6

Hi Tashana! There are lots of things that you can do outside of the parks on the evening you arrive. Here are some of my suggestions.
You could book dinner reservations at one of the monorail resorts, and after your meal ride the resort monorail to the different resorts to view all of the fabulous Christmas decorations. All of the resorts decorate differently and have large Christmas trees in their lobbies. I would recommend eating dinner at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. This character meal would be a great way to start off your vacation, and your kids would get the chance to meet some characters before even entering a park! Also, if you time it just right, you could catch the Electrical Water Pageant on the beach at the Polynesian.
Another option is to visit Downtown Disney. There are tons of shops and restaurants here to entertain you. The 'Once Upon a Toy' store is a great place to take kids! There are lots of stations where you can build your own sets of tinkertoys, Mr. Potatoheads, My Little Ponies and more. There is also a huge Lego store with bins of legos outside that kids can play with for free. The World of Disney store here is absolutely enormous and is home to a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
Disney's Boardwalk is another fun place to spend an evening. There are lots of restaurants, shops and even carnival games. Most nights live entertainers like jugglers, cowgirls doing rope tricks, caricature artists and more are outside for your enjoyment.
Of course, if you would like to get started by going to one of the parks to see the fireworks or ride the rides you could easily add a day onto your tickets. The price difference between a 6-day and a 7-day ticket is only about three dollars a person. You could add the day when you  check-in to your hotel and for about twelve dollars your family could enjoy some time at a park and still have six days of tickets left!
Whatever you decide, I hope you have a fantastic time!
