    Is Ariel's grotto still opened? I can't find it on the website and I can not find it in my updated Disney book. My 5 year old will be so disappointed if it is.

    Hi Melinda!
    Unfortunately, Ariel's Grotto closed in early 2010 as part of the new project doubling the size of Fantasyland. The good news is that Ariel still makes meet&greet appearances in the nearby Adventureland veranda (only she is in human form), She usually appears with Prince Eric, so your daughter can meet a princess and her prince. Double check the "Times Guide", which can be picked up at the park entrance, to see when and if Ariel will be appearing. Another option is to check with a Cast Member at Guest Services and have them call the "character hotline" to see where/when Ariel might be available on the day of your visit.
    Your daughter can also still see Ariel over at Disney's Hollywood Studios in the Voyage of the Little Mermaid show. And finally, Ariel is known to appear at character meals at the Akershus Banquet Hall in the Norway pavillion at EPCOT.
