    Does Ariel aka the little mermaid ever make an appearance on the disney cruise line? We are sailing Nov 2009 7 day Eastern Carribean and my 5 yr old really want to meet Ariel. :)

    I can not recall ever seeing Ariel make a character greeting appearance on either Disney cruise ship.

    It seems that Ariel prefers to stay hidden in the sea or make appearances at Ariel's Grotto at Disney World's Magic Kingdom.

    The beloved princess does make an appearance in the Disney Dreams...An Enchanted Classic show which is a not-to-be missed Broadway quality production.
