Hi, Melanie! To decide on which restaurants you would like to dine at, I suggest you go to
www.allears.net. Click on DINING and you can look through all the restaurants, buffets, and character dining experiences. You can even see the menus and pricing to help you decide which restaurants will work best for your family.
You might want to look at character breakfasts if you want to save some money. You will get the same great experience, a full meal, and save a few dollars over lunch or dinner.
What you could do is have a light breakfast in your room (granola bars or yogurt) and schedule a late breakfast. You probably won't be hungry for lunch, then you can have an early dinner. By doing this, you are only paying for 2 main meals a day, and will be dining during less busy times.
To book your advance dining reservations, call (407) WDW-DINE. Reservations can be made 90 days prior to your vacation. Have a fun trip!
