If we aren’t staying at a Disney Resort hotel, can we still ask the resort to hold our luggages if we have a park reservation before our flight

Hi Courtney! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!

Oh boy! Only a few more sleeps until you arrive at the Most Magical Place on Earth! You must be so excited about all the fun that is about to come your way! I hope you have your plans mapped out and you were able to snag all the Advanced Dining Reservations you were hoping for. With theme park reservations required for entry at this time, I'm sure you have already booked your park days and are set to start exploring the parks upon arrival!

There are some fantastic accommodation options to stay at outside of the Disney Resorts Hotels. I'm sure you have made an excellent choice in choosing where you are staying. Since you will be visiting a theme park on your departure day, your luggage is obviously a concern. Unfortunately, since you are not staying in a specific Disney Resorts Hotel, you will be unable to leave your luggage with bell services. This benefit is reserved for Guests staying there. However, you should be able to leave your luggage at the hotel you are staying at during your trip. Many of the offsite hotels will offer a similar service that a Disney Hotel does. I would suggest calling them to confirm this is an option. If you happen to be staying at a rental property, this may be a bit more difficult since there are no front desk or bell services available. Again, I would still contact the property manager to see if there are any options for you on this day. I'm sure this is not the first time that they have had this request, so they may be able to assist further.

Depending on the size of the luggage you are bringing, you may be able to utilize the locker rentals that are located at the front of each theme park. They are limited in size and will not fit large suitcases by any means, but if you are traveling light, then this could potentially be an option for you. I know the way that my family travels and we would basically need a storage facility to fit everything in! Believe me, I am not kidding!

Courtney, I hope this information helps you during your stay! Make sure to check out all the 50th Anniversary Celebration experiences that are waiting for you! Between the special treats, new nighttime spectaculars, and a variety of new merchandise choices, you are in for a fabulous time!

    See ya real soon!
