    If we aren’t staying on Disney when we go in January can we buy magic bands that we can custom

    I’m so happy to hear that you’ll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth next year! It’s going to be a memorable adventure, I’m sure! 

    MagicBands are an incredible accessory for Guests staying at a hotel within the Disney Resorts Collection. You are more than welcome to purchase and customize MagicBands on shopDisney or at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, but they will not be activated and useful unless you connect them to a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Reservation. 

    I would highly recommend staying at a hotel within the Disney Resorts Collection! If you do decide to stay on property, I always love Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! With adorable theming, great pricing, and access to the Disney Skyliner, this Resort makes every vacation a little more magical!
