Hello- We aren't purchasing Magic Bands, however, Memory Maker mentions that a MB is required to receive certain attraction photos and other digital content- what does this mean? Will we receive all pics n vids if we don't buy MBs?

    Hi Shinnell,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for sending us this excellent question!

That is absolutely correct. Opting not to purchase MagicBands will result in the exclusion of some digital content from your Disney Memory Maker account. Specifically, MagicBands are required to link attraction videos to your My Disney Experience account. However, you may add ride photos by visiting the attraction’s picture preview wall immediately after experiencing the ride. Simply touch your Disney PhotoPass card, Memory Maker card or Annual Pass to the touch point next to the preview screen that displays your photo. Be sure to Link the Disney Memory Maker to your Disney account before going on any rides.

Disney Mom Tip: I would highly recommend purchasing MagicBands online, from your local Disney Store, via the Shop Disney Parks app or upon arrival on Disney property. You really don't want to miss out on that slow-motion video of your family on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! Don't forget to Link your MagicBand to your My Disney Experience account too!

Wishing you a most unforgettable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
