Hello Kim.
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking us such an important question about enjoying splashtasticly safe family swim times.
My family loves nothing more than a day of swimming fun spent at either of Disney's Water Parks or at one of the beautifully themed Resort pools; our firm favourite is
Stormalong Bay shared by Disney's Beach and Yacht Club Resorts.
It's not an easy task keeping an eye on your children and ensuring they play safely in the water, however choosing a Walt Disney World Resort pool with zero/beach depth entry like at Stormalong Bay just might help a little. Please remember that children using Disney's Resort pools and Water Parks should be supervised by their parents at all times.
At Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park the huge surf pool has zero/beach depth entry making it suitable for both of your water babies, although you will need to take extra care of your 1 year old when the large and powerful surfing waves are active. I would think that
Ketchakiddee Creek would provide a slashingly good time for both of your children.
At Disney's Blizzard Beach both of your children should find a gallon of wet fun over at
Tike's Peak.
If I can be of any further help to you in planning your Walt Disney World vacation, please don't hesitate to come back and ask me another question.
Have a great Disney Day.
~ Jane
