Hi Dana! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Biking to the Happiest Place on Earth sounds like a dream ... and a great way to roll into the Disneyland Resort! You'll be saving a few Disney dollars on parking and, of course, being extra friendly to our planet Earth!
I have great news for you. My fellow panelist
Adrianna scoped out a few bike racks the last time she was asked this question! There is a rack near the security screening entrance on the Harbour Boulevard side of the resort just under the Monorail track. If you don't see it at first glance, just ask a friendly Cast Member who would be happy to help you out! You could also choose to park it down by the
Disneyland Hotel near
Star Wars Trading Post. In this instance, you would need to walk your bike through the security screening and once you are in Downtown Disney itself. In either case, be sure to bring your own bike lock as neither location is monitored or secured.
After you've arrived at the parks, you might want to hydrate and refuel! If you've brought your own water bottle, there are plenty of places to refill it throughout your Disneyland day. You can actually check out the map of
drinking fountains and bottle-filling stations ahead of time, or when you're in need of a refill. A fun fact is that you can also ask any Quick Service restaurant for a cup of water free of charge! If you're arriving in time for breakfast, my favorite is a warm Mickey beignet from the
Mint Julep Bar, which gives me a little sugar boost to get my morning going. If you're looking for something a bit more substantial, head over to
Ronto Roasters in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge for a Ronto Morning Wrap - a delicious blend of eggs, sausage, and cheese in an unforgettable peppercorn sauce! It's out of this world!
Dana, I hope this was helpful and your joyride into the Happiest Place on Earth goes smoothly! If you have any more questions, come back to see us here at
planDisney!
Keep wishing on those stars!
Tara
