Hi there, Claudia! Thanks for cruising by planDisney with your question today!
Sailing with a young voyager is sure to be an adventure of its own, and I know you'll always treasure the memories you make together on this magical voyage! My youngest daughter's first Disney Cruise Line sailing was at 13 months old, and I love looking back at the photos of her meeting the characters and exploring all around the ship!
Claudia, it sounds like you'll be setting sail on the
Disney Wish, and I think you'll be happy to know that your young wayfinder will be welcome in most areas of the ship, including the dining rooms during your nightly
rotational dining,
onboard activities including deck parties and character greetings, the Walt Disney Theatre to check out the top-notch Broadway quality performances, and yes, he is welcome to play in the Toy Story Splash Zone (note that swim diapers are required)! The only
restriction you will want to be prepared for is that children who are not toilet trained are not permitted in any of the swimming pools or spas onboard Disney Cruise Line ships.
Claudia, if you're looking to spend any time enjoying some of the adult-exclusive spaces on board, your son is also welcome to spend some time at
"it's a small world" nursery. There is a fee for this service and reservations are highly recommended, but it's a great option for quality care if you're looking to explore these areas.
Claudia, I think you'll find Disney Cruise Line to be very accommodating to traveling with your infant, and I know you are going to have a magical time exploring unchartered waters together! If you have any other questions before you set sail, please come back any time to
planDisney and let us know! We hope to
sea you again real soon!
Anchors Aweigh,
Alison
