Hi Lara, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
My family has spent the last couple of Easters at Walt Disney World, and I must say, it’s an egg-cellent time to be in The Most Magical Place on Earth! I think hopping over to
Disney Springs is a fantastic way to spend your Easter – like a basket filled with colorful eggs, you’ll find a wide variety of tasty treats, fun experiences, special Easter magic, and delicious dining options.
We’re still waiting for the Easter Bunny’s helpers in Disney Springs to share their egg-citing Easter plans, so my advice is to stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for announcements.
This Disney Parks Blog post from last year outlines some of the festivities; while we don’t know what experiences will return this year, it helps give you an idea of what might be in store.
My bet is that the Disney Springs shops will be open and ready to greet Guests hunting for festive treats and springtime shopping. I would expect a bustling crowd, but don’t let that deter you – it’s a big place, and they do a great job with traffic flow, with lots of places to stop and enjoy entertainment, take in the views, or cool off.
I would absolutely recommend
making a dining reservation. I love Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ and would also highly recommend Paddlefish or Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant. Amorette's Patisserie, The Ganachery, or Sprinkles are my picks for a special dessert. There are so many great choices, and there will likely be special Easter menus announced as the holiday gets closer.
Hoppy Easter, Lara!
Wishing you a magical visit,
Robyn
