which area at all sports resort is better touchdown or surfs up?

Go long, Terry! Thanks for coming to see the Disney Parks Moms Panel team today. I've got what I hope is a winning answer to your great question!

My family has taken the field at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort many, many times. In fact, staying there is one of our go-to plays when we're game-planning a quick weekend at the Walt Disney World Resort. My team loves to scrimmage on the big football field in the Touchdown! section of the Resort hotel, so we usually request a room there. Plus, it's just a Hail Mary from Stadium Hall, home of the Endzone Food Court, Sport Goofy's Gifts & Sundries, and the main bus stop. For my football-loving family, it's a winner!

Having said that, if you want to be close to the Surfboard Bay pool, you might want to hang ten over to the Surf's Up! section. It's also just a hop and a skip to the food and fun at Stadium Hall, and the watersports aficionados among us will love the surfboard motifs. It's a great place to hang loose!

Basically, both the Touchdown! and Surf's Up! sections of this Resort hotel are relatively close to the lobby, food court, and bus stops, so both are super convenient. It mostly comes down to your preference as to proximity to the pool and the overall theme you prefer.

I hope this helps you make a winning call for your stay at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, Terry. Come huddle up with us again if you have any more questions! Hut-hut!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
