Hey there Lizanne,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I love your question because it basically means I get to share all of my favorite locations around the parks where I like to take a break (and usually eat a snack or treat)!
Personally, I find it so relaxing to be at the Disneyland Resort - maybe not in the midst of the crowds on busy days, but there are always little peaceful spots to enjoy a moment, take it all in, and even do a little people watching to see everyone enjoying their visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
My top spots at Disneyland Park include the various benches around the Rivers of America (the waterway that the
Mark Twain Riverboat floats on), one of the tables around
Ronto Roasters in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, or in one of the grassy areas of
Mickey's Toontown. There are other great areas of reprieve around the park, but these three tend to be my go-to spots when I need a break.
In Disneyland California Adventure Park, I like grabbing a drink from
Hollywood Lounge and finding a nearby couch or lounger behind the
Studio Catering Co area. My family and I also love spending our mornings in Avenger's Campus before it gets busy - usually grabbing breakfast at
Pym Test Kitchen and eating at a table on the patio area. However, my most peaceful spot is a bench or table pretty much anywhere in
Grizzly Peak! This area tends to be quieter, feels more secluded, and is a great spot to rest your feet.
Thanks again for your question, Lizanne! I hope you and your group have a fantastic visit to the Disneyland Resort in a couple of weeks!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
