We will be in the area for 4 full days plus one evening. If we buy 5 day base tickets, but only have time to go to disneyworld 4 days, on one of those days could we use the "5th"day we purchased to get into a second park?

Hi Mel - the only way that Disney allows you to visit more than one park per day is if you purchase the park hopper option on your tickets.  If you have regular base tickets, you are only able to visit one park per day, even if you have extra days left.

You could always spend your evening at Downtown Disney, and purchase tickets for four days.  That way, you won't risk losing your last day.

    Have a great vacation!
