Hi! Is the aquatic play area only for children under 48 inches? Can my child still play if over 48 inches? Thanks

    Hello, Cari!

What better way to stay cool from the Florida heat than visiting one of Disney's water parks! You will find that both water parks offer areas designed for Mouseketeers who are less than 48 inches. Tike's Peak at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is a polar-themed area with splashing areas, wading pool and a few slides just the right size for younger Guests. Ketchakiddee Creek at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park also offers a wading area as well as a kid-sized rapid ride, crawling chutes and a fortress that is perfect for water battles. These areas were created with smaller children and preschoolers in mind. Therefore, to keep everyone safe, Guests taller than 48 inches should not play in these areas. However, there are several other water park attractions that your Mouseketeer can experience, such as Ski Patrol Training Camp or Keelhaul Falls.

Please note that several Walt Disney World Resort pools also have areas designed for little ones. For example, if visiting the pools at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, there is a height limit for playing in the shipwreck area as well as the kiddie pool at Disney's Pop Century Resort

I hope this helps! Thank you for visiting us again and let us know if we can be of further assistance.
