April 22 have reservations at Ohana at 8:05 and then plan to go to MK for the day. Is this a good time for a reservation or should I try for earlier so we can get to MK more around the time that it opens?

    Hi Carrie,

Dining at the Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch at 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort is a great way to start a day!  We usually allow 1 1/2 hours for a character breakfast from our reservation time.  That doesn't mean we're usually sitting at our table that long but that way we have a little cushion if we're not seated right away. It also gives us time to freshen up after our meal before we head out to our next adventure.

I took a look at the calendar for the Magic Kingdom on April 22nd.  The park is open from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. that day.  Unless you really want to see the opening ceremony, I think that you'll still have plenty of time to enjoy your day at the Magic Kingdom.  Once you've finished your breakfast, you can climb aboard the Resort Monorail and head to the Magic Kingdom.  It will be the second stop after you board at The Polynesian Resort.

You can always try to get an earlier reservation time if you really want to, but I wouldn't be upset if you can't.

Please feel free to visit again with any other questions. We'll be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
