Ahoy, Mark! I’m happy to help you with your question today.
While many things have returned since Covid, airline check-in is still unavailable at this time. When I was in Europe last summer on the Disney Magic, I checked in for our flight on the way to the airport. Most airlines allow check-in 24 hours until 45 minutes before your scheduled flight. The Disney Dream does have
upgraded internet packages that are time-based instead of usage-based. Once on board, you can find a package that works for you on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
The
Disney Dream has some of the best nighttime shows, with
“Beauty and the Beast” topping the list as one of my favorites across the Disney fleet. The story may be familiar, but seeing it performed on stage at the
Walt Disney Theatre was mesmerizing. I had to remind myself that I was on a ship and not in a theatre on Broadway. I encourage you to arrive at least 20 minutes early to select seats near the front. If you find yourself running late, a great spot is the theatre balcony on Deck 4. It never fills up as quickly as the main level, and it’s usually a little easier to exit the theatre after the performance; my husband appreciates this when carrying our sleeping son back to the stateroom.
Mark, you will have a great time on your Disney Cruise. I hope you cherish the memories and return to planDisney if we can help with anything else.
SEAS the adventure,
Tracie
