On April 27th, we were hoping to do most of the day at Epcot and then go over to DHS for the Fantasmic show. What time should we get over to DHS to get a good seat for the show? Is the dinner plan for Fantasmic worth it?

    Hi Kristen!

Walt Disney World should be about average in terms of the crowds on the 27th of April this year.  I suggest arriving at Fantasmic at least an hour before showtime; if you want really good seats, plan on arriving about 90 minutes before showtime!  Fantasmic is my favorite nighttime spectacular at Walt Disney World.  It's definitely a "must do" for my family!

The Fantasmic Dining Package is worth it if you don't like sitting in the stadium early.  However, you would still have to arrive about 30 minutes before showtime even with a reserved seat.  Also, the seats are off center meaning that sometimes the floats you see don't line up with the music perfectly.  I think getting there early and getting a center seat is worth it, but I know that's hard to do, especially with children who might be bored waiting for the show to start.

Good luck with your decision, and write back if you have any more questions!
