Is April 19-26, 2014 good for visiting Disney....?

    Hi D:

When most people ask when is a "good time" to visit Walt Disney World, they usually are asking about crowds.  As a wonderful destination spot, Disney World tends to attract crowds throughout the year. But Disney tends to attract larger crowds when schools are out of session.  As Easter falls on April 20th this year, many schools, particularly in the North East, have Spring Breaks the week of April 14th through Monday April 21th.  You'll likely find more crowds the first few days of your vacation, and notice that the crowds will thin every day during your vacation.  So, I would consider your timing as a "good time" to visit Disney World.

Weather in mid-April will likly hover in the mid-70's to high-70's during the day, if not higher.  However, temperatures can drop in the evening, so I would bring layers of clothes.  While Florida tends to be humid, April is a relatively dry time to be in Orlando.

    Enjoy your vacation.
