When do April 1 Disneyland theme park tickets go on sale?

Hi Travis, thanks for dropping by planDisney with your questions for us.

I miss strolling down Main Street USA while listening to serenades of The Dapper Dans, and enjoying a Mickey pretzel by Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. It sounds like you’re eager to get back to the Disneyland Resort theme parks and soak in all the Disney magic as well!

With the new State of California guidelines for reopening large theme parks (like the Disneyland Resort), it was just announced that Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are planning to open with limited capacity sooner than initially expected, most likely late April. Such exciting news! At this time, there has been no official reopening date announced yet. When that happens, I’m sure more information will also be released regarding new ticket sales and how Guests can make park reservations prior to entry into the theme parks.

Travis, I recommend periodically checking out the Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland.com for all the latest details and park news. Judging by how soon tickets sold out for the new limited-time experience, A Touch of Disney, (I waited for about six hours in the virtual queue to score tickets), I have a very strong feeling theme park tickets will also sell quickly once a reopening date is announced!

As you begin to plan your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth after it reopens, please don’t hesitate to stop by planDisney again for more tips and advice. We’re all EARS!

    Sending you Pixie Dusts,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
