We will be there April 2015. We have 6 day tickets and 7 days (not counting arrival and departure days). We are planning on a day off in the middle of our trip. Any ideas for things to do on our day off would be amazing. 2 adults 3 kids ages 15,9,7 Thanks

    Hi, Heather!

I'm excited to hear that you are planning a "day off" in the middle of your trip to Walt Disney World! Doing just that is one of the things I always recommend to friends who ask me for help with their plans. I think it's such a fabulous way of recharging and rejuvenating yourselves for the rest of your vacation.

My family's absolute favorite thing to do on our off day is to spend the day at our Resort pool. Complete rest and relaxation for the entire day is something we are all ready for right in the middle of our trip and we wake up the next morning feeling as if it was our very first day! I think your kiddos will love it too.

After spending the day at the pool, we like to go wander around Downtown Disney. The shops have such an awesome selection of merchandise and it's just gorgeous in the evening. We often make an Advanced Dining Reservation at one of the awesome restaurants downtown like T-REX!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel, Heather, and I sure hope this helps. Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
