Ahoy Melanie!
“Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for you!” You’ve signed up to be part of the Disney Dream’s jolly band of pirates as you set sail on your
Bahamian adventure at sea. I find this 3-night sailing to be the perfect weekend getaway. Then again, if the map has the X mark on Nassau and
Castaway Cay, I say, “Where do I sign up?”
Shiver me timbers, it’s customary for Disney Cruise Line to offer a
Pirate Night on your 3-night cruise on the
Disney Dream. It’s a real buccaneer blast, filled with lots of activities and entertainment throughout the evening. It’s so fun to see fellow Guests all decked out in costumes that would rival even Captain Jack. So I suggest that you leave some room in your pirate trunk for costumes so you can join in the festivities!
It’s not a true pirate party without fireworks, right? One of the hallmarks of Disney cruising is the spectacular fireworks at sea. Just another way that
Disney Cruise Line sets itself apart from those other cruise companies. At present time, I don’t see any reason why fireworks won’t return when Disney Cruise Line sets sail in the seven seas again.
As your cruise date gets closer, under the
"My Reservations" tab on the Disney Cruise Line website, you will be able to see your full itinerary by day, including deck parties like Pirate Night. All schedules and activities are always subject to change, but this is a great way to find out what events and themed nights will take place during your voyage.
The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be your trusty compass once onboard, and it’s the tool that makes sure you won't miss a thing! From navigating the dinner menus and deck parties to all the activities and entertainment onboard (like Bingo and the
Beauty and the Beast show in the Walt Disney Theatre), there is truly something for everyone.
Melanie, if you have more questions, we "ARRR" always game to chat with you about Disney cruising. (I just couldn’t resist ending on a pirate pun.) Hope you have a DREAM vacation!
