    In April will AK be open for the evening attractions like Tree of Life Awakening? Looks like the park is scheduled to close at 7pm starting in March so wondering if we'll get to see the new evening attractions?

    Hi Jennifer,

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that your upcoming trip is just around the corner. The nighttime attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park are truly some of the most magical experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort. We are all anxiously hoping that new nighttime hours will be released soon for the park. You are correct, however. As of now, the park is scheduled to close at 7:00 p.m., which would be just before sunset in April. Therefore, I cannot confirm that any of the nighttime attractions will be open during your visit.

    This summer, Pandora - The World of Avatar is scheduled to open in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. Although we do not know the exact opening dates yet, the new attractions in Pandora sound absolutely stunning. As always, please feel free to check back with us to see if new park hours have been released. I also recommend following the Disney Parks Blog if you have not done so already. A few months ago they released a Sneak Peak Behind the Scenes at Pandora.

    Even if the park does not extend extra nighttime hours, I do hope you will visit some of our favorite attractions - The Festival of the Lion King, Dinosaur, and Kilamanjaro Safaris.
