Have appts at Pirates League for DD9/DS6. Trying to plan lunch ADR. Approx how long do the makeovers/pictures take? DD wants mermaid/DS wants Jake. Are mermaids able to participate in Pirate Parade, too? Thanks!

    Hi Lynn,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  The Pirates League is a fabulous experience, both your children will have a great time getting a makeover, bringing out their inner pirate and mermaid!  My daughter absolutely loved this experience!  The length of the experience will take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half depending on how busy the Pirates League is that day.  The makeover itself should take around a half an hour, however waiting before and after may take some more time.  It also depends if your daughter and son are scheduled at the same time or consecutively.  The parade is always weather permitting, but when my daughter visited the Pirates League, she was able to participate in the parade.  Make sure to take lots of pictures, it is a fabulous memory!

Please let me know if you have any other questions while planning.  I would be happy to help make your "Disney Time" even more magical!
