I have a 9:10 AM appt at BBB in DTD. Would there be enough time to make it to the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for a 10:55 AM breakfast? The date is for Sept 27/10.

Hi Lisa, If you are using Disney transportation, I'm afraid you will be cutting it too close. Is there anyway that you can move the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservation earlier, or the Akershus later? Here's my reasoning: An appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique can take up to an hour (including photos). You need to take into consideration that you may not be seated right away as well. This is because you have to wait for the little Princess before you in line to finish her make-over. In addition, you will then need to walk from the World of Disney Store to the entrance of Downtown Disney to catch a bus. The buses come every 20 minutes and you never know if you just missed one (or if one is coming around the bend). Adding more time is the fact that the buses from Downtown Disney don't go to the Theme Parks. Therefore, you would need to take one to a Resort, then switch to transportation to Epcot. Your best bet would be to get on a bus headed to the Grand Floridian, Contemporary or Polynesian. Then, switch to the monorail to Epcot. From there, you would need to walk all the way back to the World Showcase to Norway (where you need to check in 15 minutes early for your reservation).

Given the above transportation scenario, you'll want to give yourself at least an hour travel time from Downtown Disney to get to Epcot. If you are shooting to be at Epcot by 10:40, you need to be leaving DTD by 9:40 at the very latest. That just is cutting it way too close for my comfort. You want to thoroughly enjoy watching your Princess get her make-over without stressing about the time.

If switching your reservations is not an option, then I would recommend that you take a cab. This will be a direct route, straight to Epcot, and will be more than worth the fare (approximately $10-15).

Hope this helps and that you are able to make it work,
