Approximately how long does a Character Meal take? First trip to DW. Trying to decide how many to book. Planning on booking Deluxe Dining Plan for 6 days. Myself, Husband and 3 yr old son. Love reading your advice! So excited!!! Thank you!

    Hi Kim!

My son and I love going to character meals at Walt Disney World!  They are so fun and they are truly an experience!  Typically, a character meal can take at a minimum at least an hour.  From my personal experience, character meals on average take between 1 to 2 hours in order to eat at a relaxed pace and to see the characters more than once.  Since most character meals are buffets, you can choose how fast you will eat and how long that you want to stay.  Keep in mind the longer that you stay at a character meal the more chances that you will have to interact with the Disney characters during your meal!

I hope that you make some magic memories at your character meals on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
