Approximately how long does it take to get from the airport to the resorts?

Hello Emily and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I know it sounds a bit silly, but I always say that from the minute I fly into Orlando International Airport I feel that I'm practically back home to Walt Disney World Resort, it just gives me that wonderful goosebumps feeling as I walk though the Main Terminal Building on Side B, Level 1 and head towards the Ground Transportation area...
My family and I tend to utilise the practically perfect in every way service of Disney's Magical Express as our preferred mode of transport from Orlando International Airport to our chosen Walt Disney World Resort hotel.  In our experience our travel time has never taken more than 1.1/2 hours, but I would always allow for at least up to 2 hours transfer time due to traffic congestion so on.
I would imagine if driving a rental car from Orlando International Airport direct to Walt Disney World Resort it would take around a similar time, if not a little less.  Plus of course be sure to allow for traffic conditions and not misreading the GPS!

    Have a great Disney day.
