Riding the
Monorail into Magic Kingdom in the morning is such a magical moment. Passing through
Disney's Contemporary Resort feels like a rite of passage, and watching the sun shine gild everything as you approach feels like literal pixie dust.
To start your adventure, the rideshare pickup and drop-off location is located at the Ticket and Transportation Center. Once you've been dropped off, the walk to the Monorail and Ferry terminal is pretty short. 5 minutes is probably being far too generous. If you're walking at
Tammy speed, it's probably closer to 2 minutes. For the Monorail, you'll then head up that ramp and wait on your chariot to arrive to take you to the fun.
Pro-tip: If you're staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you won't need to take the rideshare at all. The complimentary
Disney Bus Transportation actually offers a drop-off situation that takes you practically to the gates!
