Approx How long does it take to get from wilderness lodge to contemporary

Welcome to planDisney, Angie! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. One of the things I enjoy the most about vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort is that there is a robust complimentary transportation system to get me where I need to go. Whether it's a bus, boat, monorail, or Disney Skyliner gondola, I love knowing that I can just relax and let someone else do the driving!

Angie, there is not a direct form of transportation between Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Contemporary Resort, but I'm going to outline a couple of ways that you can get between these two Disney Resorts Collection Hotels. You're going to start your journey by heading to Magic Kingdom Park. You can do this by catching a water taxi at the boat launch, which will take you across Seven Seas Lagoon, or you can pick up a bus at the front of the resort.

Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, you have a few options as well. You can hop on the monorail and ride it one stop to Disney's Contemporary Resort, or you can stroll along the pedestrian walkway, which will take about 10-15 minutes. I always like to leave extra buffer time when traveling between Resort Hotels, so if I were making this journey, I'd probably leave about an hour to make this trip. It probably won't take that much time, but it's a good idea to factor in a few extra minutes in case you need to wait for a bus or a boat.

I hope this answers your question, Angie, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
