Hello, Brittany! Welcome back to planDisney. I'm so pleased you sailed back to us with another question. It's just about time for you to step aboard your Disney Cruise and embark on a magical vacation. I'm wishing you a time onboard filled with wonderful memories.
I couldn't quite recall seeing contactless payment terminals on my most recent sailing, so I gave Disney Cruise Line a call to check. They stated that although they do not currently have contactless payment terminals, if you have your credit card number for your new Disney Visa card, you should be able to use it to settle your onboard purchases before disembarking. Perhaps your physical card has already arrived, but if not, I hope this information helps you feel ready to set sail for your adventure.
While I enjoy purchasing souvenirs and specialty beverages onboard, my favorite purchase to make during a cruise is purchasing a placeholder with the
onboard offer for a future Disney Cruise. When you sail with Disney Cruise Line, you are eligible to book a placeholder cruise within the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are on the ship. Placeholders can then be used to secure a future cruise at a discount. I take advantage of this onboard offer every time I sail because of the great flexibility, and most itineraries and stateroom categories are included. Placeholders are fully refundable, too, just in case your travel plans change.
Have a splendid sailing, Brittany. Please return to planDisney again the next time you need us. We'll be here for you!
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
